As most of you know, it’s been a long-term objective of mine to get to have another “chapter” after corporate life where I could pursue my interest in and passion for education and community service more directly — and I feel incredibly lucky that that has now become a reality. After a fun 5-year run at TD Ameritrade (and a 27-year total biz career), I left my corporate role in May and will be heading back in the fall for a Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, with a focus on international development. In the meantime, I will be spending 6 weeks this summer in Cambodia volunteering with Journeys Within Our Community, an education-focused non-profit I’ve been working with for a few years and where I serve as Board Vice Chair.
I so appreciate your presence and support in my life and want to be sure to stay in touch — and this blog is one step to ensure that that happens! I’ll do my best to update on a regular basis — and if you happen to be in the Boston area next year, I expect to see you!!
